Yoga for kids and teenagers in Stockholm
Yoga improves concentration in children and increases their body awareness.
They learn the importance of the breath and how it correlates to the overall health.
We do yoga in a calm and relaxed environment. The smaller children learn yoga by imitating the animals which names are given to the different yoga poses. The older children learn the sequence of the Ashtanga yoga system. Each class starts by chanting the opening mantra and ends with a 10 min. relaxation, covered by blankets.
Yoga for teenagers
We work primarily with body awareness, balance, coordination, but also flexibility and concentration while breathing consciously. Each class ends with a guided relaxation and sometimes various breathing exercises are introduced.
