Yoga with Tony Giuliano at Atmajyoti Yoga, Nov 4-5 2017
Yoga offers us a powerful map to both our subtle and physical bodies and can transform us on this journey of life. In these workshops we will emphasize the importance of bio-mechanics to create stability and freedom in our practice while safely playing our edge.
These workshops are for students and teachers that want to deepen their practice in a rich and supportive environment.
Taking Flight through Handstand, Forearm/Arm Balances
Saturday Nov 4, 10.00-13.00
In this workshop we will practice and explore what is required to make these poses take flight and find steadiness in flux. Finding our center requires focus, precision and a healthy dose of play. I look forward to sharing and finding our balancing point together.
Journey into Backbends
Sunday Nov 5, 10.00-13.00
Join us on this journey into backbends as we dive into this transformative category of poses. Backbends require a balance of strength and flexibility to help the spine stay safe and aligned. We will focus on the importance of breath, good foundation and how opening the hips and shoulders make these poses all the more enjoyable and sustainable. This workshop will deepen your knowledge of backbends as well as leaving you feeling refreshed and invigorated.
