During times of a lot of external and internal stress we can feel less and less safe and at home within ourselves. The personal and collective stress levels are rising, and it can be hard to find a calm and stable place in everyday life. A week of a silent Insight (or Vipassana) meditation retreat helps us to reset and re-align with what we value most so we can return home with new energy, calm and skills to not only support ourselves but also those around us. We have created a beautiful holding environment in a stunning natural setting in the mountains near Barcelona at Can Vital.
Together we nourish body, heart and mind through the ancient practices of Insight meditation and yoga. Detox the mind by releasing your phone for a week and your to do list, detox your body by daily guided yoga and delicious (mostly) vegan food and come back home to yourself. Re-discover a peaceful heart and mind and the clarity that grows naturally from that place.
Please note that this retreat is held in "noble silence", meaning there is no talking except for small group meetings/sharing and a daily Q&A session. The silence includes not using your phone or any other device or reading books or magazines. This allows the mind to quiet itself in a deep and supportive way.
We will nurture the heart and mind with compassionate mindful presence and strengthen our connection with ourselves and each other, with time to enjoy nature, deep rest and practice in this amazing environment.
