MediYoga Therapy
MediYoga therapy is designed for individuals facing specific issues, whether psychological or physiological, such as stress, sleep problems, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, back/neck pain, anxiety, or low mood.
How MediYoga Therapy Works:
We begin with an initial session involving an in-depth therapeutic conversation (1.5–2 hours). Based on this discussion, the therapist creates a personalized yoga and meditation program, which we conclude by practicing together. You then continue with your yoga program at home for six weeks, after which we meet again for a follow-up session (1 hour).
What is MediYoga®?
MediYoga is a Swedish-developed therapeutic yoga practice that has been scientifically studied, proven, and is regularly used within Swedish healthcare. It is regulated, quality-assured, and methodical. The practice involves daily sessions combining conscious breathing, gentle and calm movements, concentration techniques, relaxation, and meditation. MediYoga® can be performed by anyone, regardless of experience, and is adaptable to individual needs. You don’t need to be unwell to use MediYoga as a tool or form of exercise—it can also be used to improve overall health, harmony, and well-being in daily life.
There is no doubt today that yoga and meditation provide numerous positive medical benefits. Research on MediYoga® in Sweden has shown significant results for conditions such as stress, back and heart problems, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, pain, anxiety, and depression.
During a MediYoga® Therapeutic Session™,
we explore your situation together through a therapeutic conversation. From a medical and holistic perspective, we aim to identify the causes and connections underlying your imbalances. The goal of the session is to provide you with greater understanding and an individualized plan so you can practice at home, actively influencing your self-healing and balance.
A certified MediYoga Therapist has completed all levels of training at the MediYoga Institute, following a clear conversational structure and ethical guidelines.
