Awakening your core – helgkurs på Atmajyoti Yoga i Stockholm
In this workshop we dive deeper into our core in the entire body. How can we find core in our feet and legs, midsection and even in our arms?
This workshop is perfect for you who has a bendy body or wants to start to build strength in the entire body. Or maybe you are stiff and weak.
We look at common yoga postures and how to enliven them using our muscles in the pose. You will learn what needs to strengthen and what needs to lengthen, always being aware of the breath.
You will get personal adjustments and suggestions for how to work with your body type and structure, the use of props and get tools for your personal practice.
You do not have to be strong or advanced to join this weekend. The practice will be basic but strong.
Friday 17.00-19.00: Using your core in the sun salutations and Standing poses and hips
Saturday 10.00-12.00: Core around the spine and midsection. Twists and balancing postures
Sunday 10.00-12.00: Shoulders. Building up to arm balances and Inversions
