Somatic Yoga & Yoga Nidra på Atmajyoti Yoga i Stockholm
A workshop to connect deeply with the body & mind to find a sense of ease and wellbeing.
We will journey through some gentle yoga and explore somatic movements which invite us to observe the felt sense of the body; A moving meditation. Re-mapping the body-mind connection which can help release subconsciously held tension patterns in the body. Dropping in questions: “how do i feel when i move”, “what sensations are arising in this moment”.
When we invite awareness to our experience, a second here, a second there, our whole body-mind will turn more spontaneously towards presence. Meeting and welcoming life as it unfolds, with a sense of ease and groundedness.
We complete the practice with an iRest Yoga Nidra. You lie or sit in a comfortable position, whist being guided through a meditation for deep rest and relaxation. As we welcome everything that is present in the body-mind our emotions and thoughts begin to grow calmer, we discover and connect to the aspect of ourselves that is always peaceful and at ease.

The practice of yoga has been with me for over 20 years. Throughout this time, my practice has shaped and evolved around new learnings and life experiences. I have studied many linears from Iyengar to Shadow Yoga with many know and unknown teachers and all have inspired me with something I can weave into my own teachings and self practice.
